Welcome to Da Capo Classical Academy

Greetings and Salutations,

(to borrow a famous line from Charlotte the spider)

Thank you for your interest in Da Capo Classical Academy. Our microschool combines the best of home education with the engaging atmosphere of a traditional classroom setting.

Unlike many area classrooms, our small class sizes provide more teacher-student interaction. They also allow for an efficient school day. Academic work can be completed in the morning with afternoons free for family time, individual enrichment, or simply resting.

We believe that these early years are prime opportunities to foster a sense of curiosity about the world, develop an appreciation for good literature, and begin learning languages - English, Spanish, and music. To this end, we draw from multiple curricula: Abeka (known for their solid reading and math), Sonlight (a Charlotte Mason approach to learning, utilizing living books), and more.

We are unapologetically a Christ-centered school. Students will begin the day with Bible and prayer. We will "hide God's Word in our hearts" and learn to apply it to our lives.

I look forward to working with your child. Thank you for this opportunity. I see it as a great honor. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me.
